What Is Dermal Filler Treatment Like?

Juvederm® dermal fillers are infused with lidocaine that minimizes injection pain. Your Balanced Aesthetics injection specialist will also apply a topical anesthetic to maximize your comfort during the injections. Your injector will carefully examine your features to determine the best placement for your Juvederm® injections. Dermal filler injections usually take under an hour to administer, and you may resume your regular schedule after treatment.

Is There Downtime with Dermal Fillers?

There is minimal downtime with Juvederm® dermal filler injections. You may experience some redness or tenderness at the injection sites, but these generally fade 24 to 48 hours after treatment. Avoid activities that may bump into your treatment site.
