How many peels will I need?+
Most patients see meaningful improvement after three to six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart. Maintenance peels twice a year keep results compounding over time.
Is visible peeling required?+
Not always. The VI Peel Original produces light, manageable flaking — most patients can apply makeup again at 48–72 hours. Deeper formulas (Precision Plus, Purify) produce more visible peeling for up to seven days.
Are chemical peels safe for darker skin tones?+
Yes. VI Peel was specifically formulated to be safe across the full Fitzpatrick skin type spectrum (I–VI). Formulations and depth are customized to minimize hyperpigmentation risk.
Can I combine a peel with other treatments?+
Absolutely. VI Peel pairs especially well with neurotoxin (see ToxBooster), microneedling, and our regenerative wellness protocols including HBOT and red light therapy to accelerate healing and amplify results.
When can I wear makeup again?+
Mineral makeup may be applied 48–72 hours post-peel, once sensitivity subsides. Your aesthetician will recommend specific products to support healing.
What happens at my initial consultation?+
A complete skin analysis with one of our licensed aestheticians, a discussion of your goals, and a recommended formula and treatment cadence. First-time patients receive guidance on prep and a complete post-care plan.
Will I be peeling at work?+
Light flaking typically appears days 3–6. Many patients schedule peels on a Thursday or Friday to allow the peak peeling window to fall over the weekend. Mineral makeup can mask most light flaking after day 3.
