Minor pain and redness can occur during and, for a short period, after treatment. The skin may flake off (peel) and feel tighter than usual for several days following treatment. There is a very low risk of infection due to tiny holes being made in the skin during treatment. Wait at least 8-12 hours before wearing makeup or using heavy facial products. Keep your skin as clean as possible, and do not touch the treated area for up to 4-8 hours directly after treatment to avoid clogged pores or infection.
