How Much is Radiofrequency Microneedling?

Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling is used to repair skin damage and restore skin tightness. RF microneedling boosts the process of collagen production to renew the skin.

What Is Radiofrequency Microneedling?

We use the innovative Cutera’s Secret™ Pro device that combines traditional microneedling with RF microneedling. The handheld device creates a series of minor, slight injuries at a precise depth in the skin. These minor injuries promote the skin’s natural healing response. Radiofrequency energy is then channeled through these minor injuries to stimulate collagen production. Over time, new skin cells that the increased collagen production makes replace the old, damaged ones. The new skin cells renew the skin’s firmness and radiance.

How Much Is Radiofrequency Microneedling?

According to Aedit, RF microneedling can cost between $750 to $2,100 per session. The cost can vary depending on the amount of skin your provider treats and the number of treatment sessions. Often a series of RF microneedling treatments are needed to achieve the best skin results for patients with moderate to severe skin concerns.

RF microneedling may need a series of treatment sessions to achieve optimal results. Over time, your skin results can be maintained with less frequent treatment sessions.

What Is The Treatment Like?

Before the treatment begins, your skin will be cleansed, and then a topical anesthetic can be applied to minimize discomfort. During the session, the Secret™ Pro device will pass over the treatment area for complete coverage. While your provider uses the Secret™ Pro, you may feel discomfort, but most patients say the treatment is tolerable. After your treatment, you may resume most activities the same day.

We recommend you use sunscreen to protect from outdoor sun exposure.

Is There Any Downtime After Radiofrequency Microneedling Treatment?

Minor pain and redness can occur for a short time after treatment. The skin may feel tighter for several days after treatment. Some skin may also flake off or peel in the healing process. To avoid clogged pores or infection, keep your skin clean, and do not put on makeup for 8 to 12 hours after treatment. Contact your provider if symptoms such as burning, swelling, or redness persist.

What Are The Benefits Of Radiofrequency Microneedling?

RF microneedling can target specific areas of the face such as the eyelids, forehead, between the eyebrows, and cheeks. Treatment can also be applied to areas outside the face, such as the arms, knees, abdomen, thighs, and buttocks.

Overall benefits include:
